"The Most Famous Small Club in the South"204 South Pelham Road Phone: (256) 435-6090 The Offical contact:E-mail: Business Hours: 5pm - until Monday through Saturday (2 am.) Brother's has been a landmark in Jacksonville, for over 20 years. We have been host to hundreds of rock bands here in the college town of Jacksonville, Alabama since our first evening of business in 1976. We are always considering new bands that would be willing to set up
gigs early in the week--sometimes on short notice, but for a very receptive
college audience. If you have a group with a bio/promotional tape or
packet, please feel free to "snail mail" or e-mail it to us. We will
review these materials and may ask your band to play for us in the
future. Here is a photo album of some of the bands that have performed on our stage over the years.

REVIEWS OF PAST SHOWS (1999):
Recently Brother's played host to a very 'rowdy' audience; with the VELCRO PYGMIES setting the musical background. Their extended song sets, covered a wide-variety of classic rock anthems from KISS, POISON, to their own "This Ain't NO Beverly Hills" and "Mona Lisa".To the disappointment of the very excited audience, the band was told they could no longer play past 2 am. (Past show have seen the PYGMIES play until the 'wee hours' of the morning!). Even with this stipulation on their lengthy musical sets, the band was witness to some rather "steamy" behavior from a couple in front of the stage...use your imagination (unless you saw it for yourself, you probably wouldn't believe it!). If you and your friends are looking for excitement, good looking members of the opposite sex, and don't mind the audience (or the band) being sexual, sweaty...this band is one you will want to see the next time they roll into "Brother's" for a Thursday evening show!
